Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding in Ylläs

Ylläs is a mountain in Finnish Lapland with two ski resorts and 63 slopes for both beginners and expert off-pisters.

The Slopes are Calling

The Ylläs mountain is 719 meters high and there are 63 slopes (6 green, 27 blue, 24 red and 6 black). There are two resorts on each side of the mountain: Ylläs Ski in the Äkäslompolo village (where our chalets are located) and Sport Resort Ylläs in Ylläsjärvi on the other side of the mountain.

The versatile slopes, ski lifts, and slope restaurants offer high-quality skiing for both young and old, beginner and expert. The mountains in Lapland are not very steep due to erosion but are ideal for carving, telemark, or off-piste skiing.

Ylläs Villas offers guests high-quality carving ski packages that include Garmont ski boots and handmade Swiss AK skis and poles.

All our houses also have a ski maintenance room and a drying room so that your ski clothes and boots are dry and warm also the next day.

More information about skiing in Ylläs can be found here.
